In most cases, the damage can be repaired but it is still recommended that hot pads and trivets are used to protect the surface and prolong the product lifetime Do not place hot cookware or heat-generating appliances such as electric skillets, frying pans, griddles or slow cookers directly on the surface without hot pads and trivets.
